Baby Jumper vs. Exersaucer

As parents, we are faced with an endless array of baby gear to pick from.  Many of us are also faced with space or money limits that force us to pick and choose which baby gear items we must use and which ones we can do with out.  Since the baby jumper and exersaucer serve similar functions, many parents choose to buy one or the other for their baby.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both items.  If you buy a baby jumper such as the Fisher Price Jumperoo or the Baby Einstein Jumper, than they are very similar to an exersaucer.  The main difference of course is they can bounce and jump in the exersaucer.  Some babies may prefer this while others absolutely love being able to bounce in their jumper.
